Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to an engaging contract opportunity supporting students ranging from PreK through 12th grade. Based in the picturesque surroundings of Burnsville, NC, this full-time role offers you the chance to make a meaningful impact across multiple campuses and private school sites. In this dynamic position, you'll provide direct speech and language therapy services to a caseload of 40-50 students distributed across six school sites (including three to four private settings). You'll work independently, as there is no SLPA support, which allows you to develop close, collaborative relationships with diverse school personnel. Whether you have your CCCs or are in your Clinical Fellowship Year, your clinical skills will be valued here. Education certification is not required, opening doors for talented SLPs focused on student outcomes.
Key Qualifications:
Valid SLP license with eligibility or possession of ASHA CCCs, or current CFY status Experience in pediatric or school-based speech pathology preferred Comfort and proficiency working in onsite, multi-site, PreK-12 educational environments Skills in teletherapy are a plus, though in-person presence is required Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Ability to manage a moderate caseload independently and travel between assigned locations
