Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into an engaging and enriching role serving students as a Speech-Language Pathologist! This contract position is ideal for an SLP-CCC with a passion for fostering positive communication outcomes in an educational setting. Located near Cary, NC, you'll work on-site, part-time—up to 20 hours per week—supporting growing learners for the 2026-2027 school year. Get ready to interview the week of 6/22 and start making an impact from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027. What you'll bring: SLP-CCC required (Clinical Certificate of Competence) Minimum of 1 year of experience in a school-based setting Current professional license and educator certificate Ability to secure NPI number and register with NC Tracks prior to your start date Completion of DCDEE fingerprinting Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine commitment to students' speech and language development Flexibility to adapt to dynamic caseloads and school assignments Experience with various age groups (caseload and specifics to be determined) Responsibilities include: Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication challenges in students Collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals Developing individualized treatment plans and documenting progress in compliance with state and federal guidelines Serving multiple school sites (number of schools to be determined) Engaging actively in IEP/504 meetings and contributing expertise to educational teams Enjoy the satisfaction of knowing your work directly enhances the educational journey and confidence of the students you'll support.
