Starting at $55/hour (dependent on experience) Position Overview Birch Agency is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high-quality speech and language services within a school-based setting. This opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by supporting students with communication disorders and helping them achieve academic, social, and functional success. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for collaborating with students, families, and educational teams. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and assessments. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student needs and IEP goals. Provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, voice, fluency, and social communication disorders. Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and compliance records. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and related service providers to support student success. Select, administer, and interpret appropriate assessment tools and treatment activities. Provide recommendations for accommodations, modifications, and intervention strategies. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and district regulations regarding special education and related services. Qualifications Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist required. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred. School-based experience preferred but not required. Comprehensive knowledge of the theories, principles, and methods of speech-language pathology. Strong understanding of assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-based intervention practices. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills. Desired Skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience utilizing Google Workspace applications. Ability to independently resolve problems and make sound clinical decisions. Ability to organize and analyze information from multiple sources. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with students, families, school personnel, and community partners. Excellent time management and documentation skills.
