Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact each day by supporting students as a contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a school setting near Clinton, NC. This opportunity places you at the heart of student development, where you'll work alongside dedicated educators and help young learners enhance their communication skills. In this engaging role, you will: Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in school-aged children Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support classroom integration and progress Maintain accurate documentation of student evaluations, treatment sessions, and outcomes Provide guidance, resources, and education to parents and staff regarding speech and language development Foster a supportive learning environment that motivates and encourages every child's success
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current SLP license valid in North Carolina or eligibility for licensure Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred; strong CFY candidates considered Previous experience working with school-aged children is a plus Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Motivation to inspire growth in diverse learning environments This contract position is a perfect fit for compassionate professionals ready to create positive, lasting change for students.
