Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students across elementary, middle, and high school settings as a certified Speech-Language Pathologist. Work 1:1 and in small groups to help students achieve their communication goals and reach their full potential. What you'll bring: Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Certification appropriate for school-based SLP positions Experience working with students in elementary, middle, or high school (K-12) Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and educators Ability to deliver assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide targeted speech therapy Comfort with 1:1 interventions and group therapy Dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment Your responsibilities: Assess speech, language, and communication abilities of students to identify needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student Conduct regular 1:1 therapy sessions and group interventions as needed Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families Maintain accurate documentation of progress, sessions, and outcomes Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations Support students in achieving academic, social, and emotional goals through communication improvement By choosing this school-based SLP role, you will contribute your expertise where it matters most—helping children and teens gain the communication skills that open doors for learning and connection.
