Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students and fostering communication growth in a diverse school environment near Fort Bragg, NC. This position is well-suited for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who is passionate about working across a range of age groups and educational settings, including elementary, middle, and high school. Your expertise will have a direct impact on students' development, working both in group settings and one-on-one to address unique needs.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active SLP license, with state certification Experience working in educational settings, particularly with elementary, middle, or high school students Previous involvement in individualized (1:1) speech therapy is highly regarded Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other school-based professionals Strong communication and documentation skills Comfortable adapting to various caseloads and student needs
Role Responsibilities:
Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for students with speech, language, and communication challenges Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to support student growth Deliver speech-language services both in group sessions and 1:1, as appropriate Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to optimize student outcomes Monitor progress, document interventions, and revise programs as necessary Engage in meetings and professional development as required by the school
