School Speech Therapist - Greensboro, North Carolina ProCare Therapy - 3.9 Greensboro, NC Job Details Full-time | Contract Qualifications Master's degree in speech-language pathology (SLP) Master's degree Speech-Language Pathology License Full Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a dedicated school-based speech-language pathologist this academic year. Working full-time (37.5 hours per week), you'll play a key role in helping young learners achieve meaningful progress, utilizing your expertise and specialized credentials. This position will be based on-site near Greensboro, NC, serving a school system and collaborating alongside other education professionals. Preferred candidates bring a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and are confident working both independently and within a team setting. You'll be empowered to make a genuine impact as you address speech, language, and communication needs across varied age groups.
Qualifications:
Current and active SLP license with ASHA CCCs Appropriate educator credentials for school-based SLP services Experience in school settings is highly desirable Adaptable with the ability to manage changing caseload needs Strong organizational, interpersonal, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct assessment, intervention, and therapy to students with speech and language disorders Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multi-disciplinary teams to support students' educational goals Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and document progress in accordance with district guidelines Offer consultation and guidance to support classroom accommodations and modifications Participate in eligibility meetings, team discussions, and school-based professional development as required This assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through late May 2026, with the opportunity to influence student success throughout the school year.
