Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a school-based speech-language pathology opportunity beginning July 27, 2026, and continuing through June 4, 2027. This full-time, contract role offers a chance to make meaningful connections with students while contributing your clinical expertise in a supportive educational setting. Your days will be filled with diverse, impactful work, from screening and assessment to hands-on intervention and advisement, collaborating with other educational professionals.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
Preferred:
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Must possess a G License from the NC Department of Public Instruction License from the Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists is a plus Strong organizational and communication skills Compassion and patience when working with students of varied backgrounds and abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive screening, evaluation, and diagnosis of speech, language, and communication disorders Develop and oversee individualized plans for students, ensuring optimal therapeutic outcomes Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote student success Offer expert guidance and advice on communication strategies and interventions for teachers and caregivers Maintain all required documentation in accordance with state and district guidelines Contribute to a positive learning environment, advocating for students' communication needs This position invites you to build valuable experience in a vibrant school community, making a genuine difference every day.
