Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Explore a rewarding contract opportunity as a full-time Speech Language Pathologist in a dynamic North Carolina school setting. Serve a diverse K-12 caseload, supporting students' ability to communicate effectively and thrive in their academic environment. Work closely with educators and families to create impactful treatment plans while making a difference in students' lives.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA preferred NC Department of Public Instruction "G" License required License from the NC Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (or eligibility) Strong collaboration and communication skills Experience within school environments or with K-12 populations is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Provide screening, testing, and diagnostic services for speech and language disorders Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans for students across K-12 Advise and consult with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student progress Document assessments, interventions, and progress in compliance with school and state regulations Engage in IEP meetings, participate in student support teams, and offer professional guidance to faculty Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current best practices in speech-language pathology This contract position offers the potential to expand your professional expertise in a collaborative school environment.
