Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract This contract position offers a rewarding opportunity to provide essential speech-language pathology services in an elementary school and preschool setting. The role requires a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist with certification and, preferably, experience working in pediatric healthcare or school environments. The assignment spans the current school year, with a start date as soon as possible through the end of the academic year, offering a full-time schedule across two school sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech-language pathology services to students, addressing a range of pediatric communication needs. Provide supportive services to enhance educational outcomes. Conduct evaluations to determine speech and language capabilities and needs. Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to collaborate on student goals. Maintain detailed documentation within ECATS and Medicaid systems to ensure compliance and tracking.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC). Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred. Experience working with children in school and pediatric healthcare settings. Familiarity with early childhood and elementary school populations. Strong organizational skills to manage documentation and scheduling across multiple sites.

40 hours per week, onsite preferred
