e2036-27265 Job Description Make a positive difference in the lives of children by providing vital speech-language services in a supportive school environment. This full-time contract opportunity serves students in grades K12, spanning early childhood through elementary school, for the 20262027 academic year. Caseloads are assigned with consideration for your experience and preferences, and can range from moderate to profound needs. Both local and travel candidates are encouraged to apply. Youll collaborate with educators and families to create individualized therapy plans, fostering communication skills that empower students to thrive academically and socially.
Key Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Active SLP license in North Carolina (or eligibility to obtain) Pediatric experience, particularly in school settings Background working with early childhood and elementary populations Strong organizational skills and ability to manage diverse caseloads Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments for students with speech and language needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting communication goals Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state requirements Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success planning Provide therapy across a range of needsfrom articulation to more profound communication disorders In addition to a rewarding role in education, youll enjoy competitive hourly pay ranging from $40 to $60 per hour, comprehensive healthcare benefits, and a 401(k) plan with company matching.
