Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic educational environment and make a meaningful impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in school-based services. This contract role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse student population, collaborating with educators and families to promote communication and language development in young learners.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Active state licensure (or eligibility) for North Carolina Previous experience providing speech therapy services in a school setting strongly preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Passion for supporting student learning and achievement
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide assessments, diagnostics, and direct therapy for students with a range of speech, language, and communication disorders Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals in accordance with IEP guidelines Collaborate daily with teachers, administrators, and family members to support student progress and foster positive educational outcomes Maintain accurate records, prepare comprehensive reports, and document student progress toward goals Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, professional development, and parent conferences Provide consultative services and training as needed for staff and family members This position brings the flexibility of a contract role and immersion within a supportive and purpose-driven educational community.
