Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in students' lives by providing expert speech-language services for the 2026-2027 school year in a supportive educational environment. This full-time, on-site opportunity empowers dedicated professionals to work closely with schools and families—delivering effective evaluation, intervention, and support to learners in need.
Key Qualifications:
Valid North Carolina Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license (active status required) Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid North Carolina DPI SLP license Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred Demonstrated experience with ECATS required Experience with online school management systems like Infinite Campus highly valued Commitment to work exclusively on-site; remote and SLP-A applicants will not be considered
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments and therapy within a school-based setting Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, administrators, and families Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Document student progress and manage information effectively in ECATS and Infinite Campus Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute to the overall success of each student's educational journey Maintain compliance with state and federal requirements, adhering to all district guidelines
