A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Pediatric Therapy Connection is expanding! Come grow with us! We are a therapist owned and operated practice seeking energetic and motivated licensed Speech-Language Pathologists and CF's serve pediatric clients in our private practice. As a therapist and family owned business, we value caregivers being a part of the therapy process. Our in-clinic therapy provides this opportunity for families to be involved in each session and for constant communication on best ways to implement strategies into daily routines. We highly value family time for our therapists as well and include administrative time into our schedules, so that paperwork does not follow our therapists home.

Therapists do not have to worry about billing or scheduling, so that they can concentrate on providing the best care to our patients during business hours. Active SLP license in NC required We are looking for therapists who are motivated to grow with us. We provide all services in our clinic setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct evaluations, assessment materials provided.
  • Treat pediatric population with a variety of ages and needs.
  • Establish treatment goals and milestones with patients.
  • Document and complete dynamic treatment plans and progress reports.
  • Update patient progress to family
  • Communicate with families, team, and lead therapist.
  • Maintain continuing education requirements.
  • Comply with governing code of ethics.
  • Complete all documentation and records in a timely and accurate manner.
Qualifications:
  • Organization skills and ability to be creative are a plus.
  • Ability to build rapport with patients.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • At least a Master's or Doctorate degree in a Speech Language Pathology.
  • Active Speech Language Pathologist license as approved by the State Board in NC Come join our work family!

Full-time, Part-time Pay:
$60,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
