Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current or eligible NC SLP license Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) status Experience working with school-aged children preferred Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

Assess and evaluate students' speech, language, and communication skills to determine individual needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and targeted interventions Provide direct therapy to students in both individual and group settings Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other specialists to support students' progress Document student performance and maintain timely, accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to collaborative problem-solving teams
