Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a vital role supporting students across elementary, middle, and high school settings as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). This contract position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by working one-on-one and within group settings, helping students achieve their communication goals in an educational environment. Your expertise will directly contribute to students' academic progress and confidence. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, develop individualized plans, and foster lasting relationships throughout the school year.
Qualifications & Experience:
Hold a current SLP license or certification Experience within school settings (elementary, middle, and/or high school) Proficiency in delivering individualized and group speech therapy services Skilled at supporting students 1:1 with varying communication needs and learning profiles Strong collaboration and communication abilities with staff, students, and families Well-versed in maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations for school-based servicesResponsibilities:
Assess students and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to their communication goals Provide direct speech therapy services, both individually and in groups Track and document students' progress, adjusting approaches as needed Participate in team meetings, staff collaboration, and family consultations Advocate for students' needs and help integrate therapy recommendations into classroom routines Maintain up-to-date records and support students' academic and social growth This is an outstanding opportunity to leverage your skills and passion in a supportive educational community.
