Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist working with students in a school-based setting from August 26, 2026, to June 10, 2027. Provide vital services to a diverse population of 45-50 students, supporting their communication and learning needs. With both full-time (35 hours/week) and part-time options available, this role offers flexibility to match your ideal schedule. Bring:

Hold a valid Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP) for North Carolina Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome Experience in pediatric settings or school environments preferred Strong knowledge of speech/language intervention techniques and IEP development Effective communicator with students, caregivers, and school staff Capable of managing a caseload of up to 50 students with varied needs

What You'll Do:

Assess and evaluate students using standardized tools to identify communication disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs Deliver therapy services in both individual and group settings Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families for integrated care Maintain accurate records and progress reports as needed for compliance Work with students ranging from mild to moderate needs across various grade levels
