Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working with school-aged students in the East and Southern regions of a vibrant district in North Carolina. This full-time position spans the upcoming academic year, starting August 12, 2026, and running through June 11, 2027. With a weekly schedule of 35 to 37.5 hours, you'll have the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students. Ideal candidates will hold an active North Carolina SLP license. Both SLP-CCCs and Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply—supervision is offered for SLP-CFs. Please note, SLPAs are not being considered at this time. The district offers flexibility and is open to discussing caseload preferences, with assignments tailored in collaboration during interviews. Caseloads are capped at 35 students, allowing for focus on quality services.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
Valid SLP license in North Carolina required School-based experience preferred SLP-CCC or SLP-CF (with supervision available) Background working with students with Autism (AU) and low cognitive disabilities is highly desirable Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skillsResponsibilities Include:
