School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Lillington, North Carolina ProCare Therapy - 3.9 Lillington, NC Job Details Full-time | Contract 6 days ago Qualifications Speech-Language Pathology License Student-centered approaches (student motivation techniques) Full Job Description Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to provide crucial support and therapy services for students in a K-12 setting during the academic year. This contract opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners, working closely with education professionals to help students reach their full communication potential. The position is onsite only, fostering in-person connections and hands-on collaboration in the school environment.
Qualifications & Desired Background:
Valid and active North Carolina SLP license required SLP-CCC certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) Experience working as a Speech Therapist within a school setting (K-12 experience preferred) Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs), assessments, and documentation procedures Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Commitment to providing supportive, student-centered interventions
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students, spanning kindergarten through 12th grade Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate student growth in communication skills Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings Deliver direct speech-language therapy services onsite, adapting techniques to meet diverse student needs Offer resources and guidance to classroom teachers for integrating speech and language strategies This position is a fantastic opportunity for professionals seeking meaningful, school-based experience on a full-time basis throughout the academic year.
