A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Fully Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist Flexible 1099 Opportunities | Charlotte, Matthews, Concord, Kannapolis Looking for a flexible SLP opportunity without taking on a full caseload? We may be a great fit for you! Optimum Speech Language Services, PLLC is growing, and we are looking for fully licensed Speech-Language Pathologists who want the freedom to choose how much they work and where they work. This is a 1099, fee-for-service position with opportunities for treatment and evaluations in a variety of settings, including daycares, homes, and ABA centers. This opportunity may be perfect for you if you are: A stay-at-home mom looking to maintain a small caseload A retired SLP who would like to continue practicing on your own terms A school-based SLP looking for a few clients outside of your school day An experienced clinician who enjoys having independence and flexibility An SLP who wants additional income without committing to a full-time caseload An SLP who wants to choose opportunities that fit your schedule and preferred area We currently have opportunities in: Charlotte Matthews Concord Kannapolis You don't have to travel all over the Charlotte area. What you'll do Provide individualized pediatric speech-language services in natural environments, including: Treatment sessions in homes, daycares, and ABA centers Speech-language evaluations and assessments Collaboration with families, teachers, and other professionals Documentation and progress updates Family education and recommendations for carryover Providing engaging, functional, child-centered therapy What we're looking for Fully licensed Speech-Language Pathologist Current North Carolina SLP license Pediatric experience preferred Reliable transportation and ability to travel to assigned client locations Strong clinical skills and professional communication Comfortable working independently Dependable and responsive with documentation and communication Willingness to provide services in natural settings •Ideal candidates will have access to some of their own evaluation materials But don't let that stop you from reaching out.
