Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role delivering speech-language services across elementary, middle, and high school settings on a contract basis. Your expertise as a certified, licensed SLP will support students in achieving their communication and academic goals in a vibrant school community. What you'll bring: Active state licensure and certification in Speech-Language Pathology Experience working in educational settings, serving diverse student populations from elementary through high school Demonstrated ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, teachers, and other professionals Comfort with adapting therapy approaches for students with a wide range of speech, language, and communication needs How you'll make a difference: Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in small groups and individual sessions Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs and progress Develop, update, and monitor IEPs, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support student growth Engage families and educators in the therapeutic process, offering guidance and resources as needed Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school and state policies This contract opportunity lets you work within a dynamic school environment, gain exposure to a variety of age groups and speech-language challenges, and build lasting relationships with students and staff.
