Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Bring your passion for supporting students' communication skills to a dynamic educational environment as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist. You'll collaborate with educators, families, and students to foster success in academic and social settings. With a focus on individualized care, this is an excellent opportunity for a skilled SLP ready to make a meaningful impact.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current and valid state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility for licensure) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but CFY candidates will be considered Prior experience working in a school-based setting is highly desirable Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders among students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with other professionals Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students in accordance with their IEP goals Track student progress and maintain accurate records of evaluations, treatments, and outcomes Provide guidance and resources to teachers and families to support student growth Participate in meetings and contribute professional expertise as needed
