Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of students by providing speech and language therapy services in a supportive school setting. This contract opportunity is ideal for dedicated speech-language pathologists who are committed to empowering students' communication growth and academic success.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid SLP license (CCC preferred) Previous school-based experience or familiarity with IEP processes Strong ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of speech and language disorders in a pediatric population Exceptional communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and fellow professionals Adaptable and organized approach to managing varying caseloads Proficient in documentation and using digital platforms for treatment planning and progress tracking
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations for students as needed Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in line with school and state guidelines Deliver direct and group therapy sessions targeting articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatic skills Consult with teachers and families to support students' communication needs across academic settings Maintain thorough, timely records of evaluations, goals, progress, and therapy outcomes Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary collaboration, and professional development activities as appropriate
