A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Soliant is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a welcoming school district near Shallotte, NC. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a supportive team while making a meaningful impact on students throughout the school year.

Position Details:

Full-time position (37.5 hours per week) Full 2026-2027 school year Multiple openings and caseloads available Provide speech and language evaluations, therapy, and related services Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary staff to support student success Supportive district with a collaborative team environment

Requirements:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Active North Carolina Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license Eligible to work in a North Carolina public school setting by the start date Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; qualified Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply, if applicable Previous school-based experience is preferred, but not required
