Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students across multiple schools as a Speech-Language Pathologist. In this full-time role, you'll provide dedicated services to a caseload of 40-50 students, primarily at the elementary level, with the flexibility to design your own schedule. The assignment spans the academic year, beginning in mid-August and concluding in late May, and covers six schools within the district, giving you a diverse and engaging environment.

Desired Qualifications:

Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP Experience with K-12 students, with an emphasis on elementary-aged children Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to travel between schools as needed Organizational skills to effectively manage caseload and documentation

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver speech and language therapy to students, focusing on individualized education plans (IEPs) and targeted interventions Conduct assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication needs Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support the progress of each student Maintain timely and accurate records of assessment, treatment, and student progress Participate in IEP meetings and ongoing evaluation of service effectiveness Promote a supportive and inclusive learning environment across all assigned schools
