Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an impactful contract opportunity supporting students across elementary, middle, and high school settings. Licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) dedicated to fostering communication skills in school-aged children will thrive in this dynamic and collaborative environment, located near the Statesville, NC region.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active Speech-Language Pathology license in North Carolina Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility Previous experience in school-based settings (elementary, middle, or high school preferred) Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Ability to develop and implement individualized service plans Comfortable working independently as well as within multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative speech and language services to students across various grade levels Administer evaluations, interpret results, and develop tailored intervention strategies Maintain accurate assessment records and progress documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and insight to student plans Educate and collaborate with educators, staff, and families regarding student needs and best practices Adapt intervention techniques for a diverse student population, ensuring inclusion and accessibility
