Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of students while advancing your career in speech-language pathology! Multiple full-time contract opportunities are available for dynamic SLPs (including CFs) in the East and Southern areas of a welcoming district near Thomasville, NC. With support for Clinical Fellows and flexible caseloads, you'll find the resources and collaborative spirit essential for professional growth and student success.
Qualifications and Preferences:
Current North Carolina SLP license required CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellow (CF) credentials accepted (supervision provided for CFs) Experience supporting students with autism (AU) and low cognitive disabilities is highly valued School-based experience preferred Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills Must be available to work full time, 35-37.5 hours weekly, for the duration of the academic year (August 12, 2026, to June 11, 2027) SLPA credentials are not accepted for these positions
Core Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality speech and language therapy services to a diverse caseload of up to 35 students Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student's unique needs Engage with multidisciplinary teams, families, and educational staff to support student success Participate actively in assessments, eligibility meetings, and progress reporting Adapt therapy approaches and materials based on student strengths and levels
