Job Description
Category Therapy - Skilled - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide skilled therapy services for students from PreK through 5th grade. This contract role supports a school setting in Washington, NC, covering a maternity leave from mid-April through the end of the school year. The caseload will include a full range of pediatric speech and language needs within the school environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in grades PreK-5th Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student assessments Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies Utilize knowledge of pediatric speech and language development to tailor effective therapy sessionsQualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Experience delivering therapy in pediatric and school-based settings Skilled in assessing and treating a variety of school-aged speech and language disorders Ability to manage a full caseload with strong organizational skills Valid state licensure or eligibility to practice in Washington, NC This contract opportunity offers a chance to make a meaningful impact during an important transition period in the school year.
