  • Myna Therapy Services, PLLC is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services in a school-contracted position.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with school-aged children and a strong commitment to helping students reach their full potential through high-quality, evidence-based speech and language services. This role includes collaboration with school staff, families, and interdisciplinary team members to support student success in the educational setting. This position reports to the supervising Lead Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Job Duties:
  • Evaluate students with suspected speech, language, communication, or swallowing disorders, as appropriate within the school setting.
Develop and provide individualized, evidence-based speech and language services that support students' educational goals and access to the curriculum. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility determination, goal development, service recommendations, and progress reporting. Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers to support student success across educational environments. Provide consultation to school staff and families regarding student communication needs, strategies, and recommended supports. Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal requirements. Communicate regularly with school teams and outside agencies as needed to ensure coordinated care and support for students. Ability to provide high-quality, student-centered speech-language services in a school-based setting Strong communication skills, including active listening and effective verbal and written communication with students, families, school staff, and interdisciplinary team members Knowledge of standardized and informal speech-language assessment tools and their use in determining educational impact Understanding of special education laws, procedures, and documentation requirements, including evaluations, eligibility, IEPs, and progress reporting Flexibility to adapt to changing student needs and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary educational environment Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with students, families, colleagues, school teams, community partners, and other stakeholders Familiarity with a wide range of speech, language, communication, and cognitive disorders affecting school-aged children Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills Proficiency with basic technology and electronic documentation systems Ability to comply with all applicable professional, ethical, district, state, and federal standards
  • Education and Experience
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active state SLP license CCC-SLP preferred; Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
