Days Start date: September 14, 2026 Work setting: long-term care nursing home Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations of residents' speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing as appropriate. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address identified needs. Provide direct speech-language pathology therapy to residents, including therapy aimed at communication, swallowing safety, and feeding skills. Document evaluation findings, treatment goals, progress notes, and discharge planning in the resident's medical record in compliance with relevant regulations. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team (nursing, rehabilitation therapy, dietary/nutrition, social work) to coordinate resident care. Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and participate in care conferences to support resident outcomes.
