Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract We are actively hiring a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school district in Hastings, Nebraska for the 2026-2027 school year. This on-site SLP position focuses on early childhood intervention, working with children from birth to 5 years old to support foundational communication and developmental skills. This opportunity is ideal for clinicians passionate about early intervention, pediatric speech therapy, and developmental milestone support in a collaborative educational environment.
Position Details:
Early Childhood SLP (Ages 0-5)
  • Provide services to infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children (birth to age 5)
  • Deliver early intervention and speech-language therapy services
  • Conduct evaluations and monitor developmental milestones
  • Support development of early communication, articulation, and language skills
  • Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and early childhood teams Responsibilities
  • Deliver speech-language therapy services in an early childhood setting
  • Conduct evaluations, screenings, and developmental assessments
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and IFSPs
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Collaborate with teachers, early intervention teams, and families
  • Support children with speech delays, language development needs, articulation, and social communication challenges Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Nebraska SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
ASHA CCC-SLP
preferred (CF candidates may be considered)
  • Experience in early childhood, pediatric, or school-based settings preferred
