Hour Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 13-week travel assignment in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. The Speech Therapist will provide services in both acute care and inpatient rehabilitation settings, working with a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Conduct cognitive evaluations to assess home safety and discharge readiness. Perform swallowing assessments and assist with swallow studies. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Document patient care and treatment progress using Epic EMR. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care.

Stroke Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)

Parkinson's Disease Trauma Post-Intubation Patients Cognitive Evaluations Swallowing Disorders Assignment Details:

Acute Care & Inpatient Rehabilitation Qualifications:

Active Speech Language Pathologist license in the State of Nebraska. Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification. Minimum of 1-2 years of recent hospital, acute care, or inpatient rehab experience preferred. Strong communication, assessment, and documentation skills.

HC Pay:

$75.00 - $80.00 per hour
