Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Discover a rewarding opportunity to support students' communication skills in a dynamic school environment near Amherst, NH. This full-time contract position is available for the 2026-2027 academic year, running from September 1st through June 15th. As a vital member of the school community, you'll work with a middle school caseload, delivering impactful speech-language pathology services and contributing to students' academic and social success.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program New Hampshire state licensure in Speech Language Pathology (or eligibility) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status welcomed Demonstrated experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Essential Responsibilities:
Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in a middle school setting Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs Deliver direct and consultative services, collaborating with teachers, families, and support staff Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team assessments, and professional development opportunities Foster a positive, inclusive environment that supports student growth and achievement
