Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract This contract position is focused on providing Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) services within an elementary school setting from September 1, 2026, to June 15, 2027. The role entails a 32-hour workweek spread over four days, with working hours from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., supporting an elementary caseload in Amherst, NH.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid New Hampshire state license in SLP Experience with pediatric populations and school-based speech-language pathology services Knowledge in clinical fellowship year (CFY) preferred but not mandatory
Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders among elementary students Collaborate with educators and parents to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state guidelines Deliver therapy services in alignment with best practices and school policies Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
