Registered Nurse — Residential Lakeside Camp | Summer 2026 |

Full-Time, Seasonal (June 17 - August 13, 2026) About the Client A well-established lakeside overnight camp in southern New Hampshire with a decades-long reputation for inclusive, community-centered programming. The camp serves 200-250 campers per session between the ages of 8 and 15, supported by a live-in health team of four RNs and nursing students operating within a structured, leadership-backed clinical model. This is an organization that takes nurse well-being seriously—shifts are designed to be sustainable, support is genuine, and the culture is one where clinical staff are set up to succeed.
Compensation & Benefits Base Salary:
$1,200-$1,400 per week, based on experience and qualifications
Relocation Assistance:
Travel expenses covered
Shift:
Structured Early, Mid, and Late shifts with guaranteed breaks; Late shift includes on-call responsibility but does not require the nurse to remain awake

Private room and private bath; all meals included for the season; camp-age children welcome to attend; pets negotiable Job Summary Join a four-nurse residential health team delivering consistent, high-quality care to campers and staff across a full summer season at a lakeside overnight camp. The role covers the full breadth of camp nursing—clinical assessment, medication management, injury and illness response, and ongoing family communication—within a deliberately structured shift rotation designed to keep the team sharp and sustainable from opening day through closing. Key Responsibilities Conduct ongoing nursing assessments and deliver direct care to campers and staff throughout each shift Maintain health records that are complete, accurate, and consistently up to date Manage medication packaging, secure storage, and administration across four scheduled daily med passes Respond promptly and effectively to on-site injuries, acute illnesses, and urgent health developments Keep camp leadership informed of clinically significant health developments in a timely and professional manner Communicate with parents and guardians in a warm, clear, and reassuring manner on all health-related matters Maintain a Health Center environment that is organized, calm, and welcoming throughout the season Minimum Requirements Active RN license in New Hampshire or a valid Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) multistate license in good standing; New Hampshire is an NLC compact state, making this role accessible to compact license holders from any member state Comfortable and confident working with children and adolescents ages 8-15 in a residential setting Strong interpersonal and communication skills across campers, fellow staff, and parents Reliable and fully committed to completing the entire summer season Genuinely engaged in a community-centered residential camp environment Ideal Qualifications Clinical background in pediatrics, school nursing, camp healthcare, or emergency medicine At home in close-knit, team-driven environments where collaboration is the daily norm Warm, energetic, and approachable by nature—someone who brings steadiness and positivity to every patient interaction Elevate Your Career Apply for this Registered Nurse position and let Rio Staffing represent you to our network of esteemed healthcare clients.
