Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic contract opportunity for the 2026/2027 school year as a Speech-Language Pathologist, working in a vibrant educational setting close to the Gorham, NH area. Begin your journey after Labor Day and make a meaningful difference in children's lives while guiding emerging clinicians and contributing to student success. In this role, you'll serve as a valued member of the speech-language team, supervising two dedicated SLPAs. Your expertise in evaluating and supporting students will provide them with the resources they need to thrive in a school environment. Your focus will center on pediatric populations, offering both assessment and strategies to meet a wide range of communication needs.
Qualifications and Experience Desired:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), open to strong Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates Experience with pediatric and school-based caseloads Confidence in conducting evaluations and developing individualized intervention plans Familiarity with best-practice communication interventions in an educational context Comfortable supervising and mentoring SLPAs Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
Administer thorough speech-language evaluations across elementary and secondary grade levels Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students Provide mentorship, supervision, and feedback for two SLPAs Maintain comprehensive and compliant records of student progress Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service staff to foster student communication outcomes Take advantage of a meaningful career adventure, using your expertise to inspire students and support educational goals.
