Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity where you'll support student success during the entire 2026-2027 school year, beginning after Labor Day. This valuable role calls for an enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist ready to make an impact in a school-based pediatric setting. As a vital member of a collaborative team, you'll help shape young communicators and lead by providing supervision and mentorship to two dedicated SLPAs.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current or eligible Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC), or Clinical Fellow seeking CFY State licensure (or ability to obtain prior to start) Experience in school or pediatric settings strongly preferred Ability to supervise and mentor Speech-Language Pathology Assistants Strong organizational and communication skills Commitment to evidence-based practice and individualized student careResponsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students with diverse needs Develop and implement effective, individualized treatment plans Provide direct therapy and documentation per student IEPs Supervise and support two SLPAs, offering guidance, feedback, and professional development Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families to promote student growth Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and compliance with school policies Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of academic plans This contract position promises a fulfilling experience, professional growth, and the chance to make a difference alongside passionate educators and therapists.
