Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and evaluate patients' communication, swallowing, and cognitive abilities to develop individualized treatment plans

  • Design and implement evidence-based therapy programs to improve patients' communication, language, and cognitive skills

  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on communication and swallowing techniques
  • Document patient progress and outcomes, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • State licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • 1+ year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in rehabilitation or long-term care
  • Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team
