Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an impact working with students across preK to 8th grade for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time, contract role is based in a single school building serving approximately 45 children. Your expertise will be essential in providing therapy, conducting evaluations, and supporting student communication needs. The assignment is set to begin August 26th.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Holds (or eligible for) SLP - CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Experience in pediatric or school-based settings strongly preferred Skilled in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication disorders Able to collaborate well with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families All necessary state licensure and clearances completed or in progress
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services to preK-8th grade students Complete speech-language evaluations, develop IEP goals, and maintain thorough documentation Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and interdisciplinary consultations Implement evidence-based therapy, adjusting methods to fit each child's needs Communicate progress with educators and caregivers Support inclusive classroom environments as needed
