Step into a dynamic school-based Speech Language Pathologist role, supporting a diverse population of young learners near Bloomfield, NJ. This opportunity covers a maternity leave starting May 29th through June, with the potential to resume September through November 23, 2026, for the regular school year. Additionally, there is the option to support the Extended School Year (ESY) program during July and August, which may include PreK or other caseload variations. The current caseload consists of 27 individual students, with more incoming through Early Intervention referrals. In this position, you'll provide comprehensive evaluations, targeted treatment sessions, and actively participate in IEP meetings. Experience with augmentative communication devices is especially valued, as you'll have a central role in supporting students who require alternative and assistive communication systems.

Qualifications and Experience:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, with valid state licensure and ASHA CCC or CFY eligibility Demonstrated experience in a pediatric and/or educational setting Skilled in teletherapy, individual therapy sessions, and group interventions Knowledge of Early Intervention services and IEP documentation Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices is highly preferred Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills

Role Responsibilities:
