Pediatric SLP in Bloomfield, NJ ProCare Therapy - 3.9 Bloomfield, NJ Job Details $42.13 - $72.13 an hour 12 hours ago Qualifications Speech-Language Pathology License Full Job Description Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Shape your summer around meaningful work supporting students' communication needs in a dynamic school environment. Two summer contract opportunities are open for speech-language pathologists passionate about making an impact: Position 1: ESY Speech Teacher (Half-Day Programs)
Schedule:
Monday through Thursday, June 29 - July 30
Hours:
8:00 AM-1:00 PM, with flexible start times (e.g., 9:30 AM is possible) Attendance is flexible; commitment every day is not mandatory Engage with students in a teaching capacity within structured half-day summer programs, focusing on speech therapy and communication goals Position 2: ESY CST Support -
Evaluations and Meetings Schedule:
Primarily Fridays, July 1 - August 30 (not a daily requirement) Support the Child Study Team by facilitating student evaluations and participating in meetings as needed Conduct evaluations on an "as needed" basis throughout the summer
Desired Skills & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Valid SLP licensure (CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year considered) Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred Strong ability to work independently and adapt to flexible schedules Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and evidence-based therapeutic interventions for students (Role 1) Guide students through progress toward their IEP goals (Role 1) Complete comprehensive speech and language evaluations (Role 2) Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in meetings and contribute to assessments Summer schedules offer flexibility to tailor your work hours and balance professional responsibilities with personal plans.
