What they do

A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

At BrightStar Care of Camden & Cherry Hill, you'll work with small caseloads, premium pay, and RN-led support , making every visit meaningful. What You'll Do Perform speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive evaluations Create and deliver individualized treatment plans Provide therapy in dysphagia, articulation, voice, and communication strategies Train patients/caregivers in compensatory techniques and home practice Document sessions per NJ DOH, Medicare, and BrightStar standards Collaborate with RNs, PTs, OTs, and CHHAs What We Need NJ SLP license / CCC-SLP credential 1+ year of SLP experience (home health preferred) CPR/BLS certification Strong clinical documentation and patient interaction skills Reliable transportation in Camden/Cherry Hill
