Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification is needed to cover a maternity leave assignment starting immediately through late spring. This contract role offers the opportunity to support students on the autism spectrum in a specialized school setting near Cherry Hill, NJ. The position requires splitting time between two Marlton locations: Marlton Middle School and DeMasi School. Both serve higher-functioning students with autism, providing a focused environment for targeted therapy. Daily hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., providing consistent scheduling and routine.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting one-on-one speech therapy sessions lasting 30 minutes, typically seeing 6-7 students per day Developing and implementing individualized goals and objectives for students' IEPs Writing detailed progress notes and planning future therapy sessions to ensure continuous student improvement Collaborating with educators and other professionals to support student success Desired qualifications: Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) is required Experience working with school-age children, preferably with autism spectrum disorders Strong ability to create engaging, individualized therapy plans Effective documentation and communication skills This opportunity is ideal for clinicians who thrive in school settings and are passionate about supporting students with unique communication needs.
