Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful role supporting schools near Edison, NJ this fall! Multiple contract opportunities are available for school-based Speech-Language Pathologists to provide crucial services during maternity leave coverage. These full-time roles begin in September 2026 and last for 12 weeks, offering over 35 hours weekly at engaging elementary settings with a high Autism and preschool population. Openings are available at both Sewaren and Iselin school locations—one position at each, with the third site yet to be determined. Please note these are onsite-only assignments and prioritize CCC-SLPs; SLPAs are not eligible.
Desired Qualifications:
Current NJ Speech-Language Pathology License Valid NJ SLS Certification Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is highly valued Clinical Fellows (CFs) may apply if they have external supervision; onsite supervision is not available Strong experience with K-5 and preschool children, especially within high Autism populations Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic school environment
Responsibilities:
Deliver evidence-based speech-language therapy to elementary students ranging from preschool through 5th grade Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Conduct comprehensive assessments and maintain accurate, timely documentation Serve as a resource to teachers and families, supporting communication goals and strategies for students Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that prioritizes student growth and achievement If you are dedicated to making a difference in children's lives and meet the licensure and certification requirements, this is a fantastic opportunity to build experience in a rewarding educational setting. to make a lasting impact as a valued school-based SLP this fall!
