Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type All Job Types Step into a meaningful Speech-Language Pathology opportunity supporting early learners in a vibrant pre-kindergarten environment. This role focuses on providing services for students during a maternity leave from late May through June, with the possibility of returning in September through November 2026 for the regular school year. Additionally, you may be invited to participate in the Extended School Year (ESY) in July and August - note that the ESY caseload may or may not focus exclusively on Pre-K. You'll have the rewarding task of serving 27 students individually, with new referrals underway from Early Intervention. The caseload includes a range of communication needs. Responsibilities extend to conducting evaluations, delivering direct therapy, and actively contributing to IEP meetings. Experience with augmentative communication devices will make you an invaluable resource to students and staff alike.
What you bring:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid state licensure (or eligibility) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) and/or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Proven pediatric or school-based SLP experience Comfort providing services via teletherapy, if needed Strong background in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices is highly desired Confidence in independently evaluating, treating, and documenting progress Collaborative attitude for participation in IEP meetings Role highlights: Provide impactful, individualized interventions for diverse early learners Gain experience across the school year and ESY Work closely with multidisciplinary teams Opportunity to make a lasting difference in young students' communication skills If you are passionate about supporting children's communication development and enjoy working in dynamic educational settings, apply today to influence student success for the upcoming school year and beyond!
