Primarily Pediatrics Lifespan Caseload CFs Welcome No Fridays, Weekends or Holidays Seaside Rehabilitation is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our outpatient therapy team. Clinical Fellows are welcome and encouraged to apply. This is a unique opportunity for an SLP who enjoys pediatrics while also wanting to maintain or develop skills working with patients across the lifespan . Our caseload is heavily pediatric but also includes adults with a variety of speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing needs. Schedule & Opportunity to Grow This position is designed to start part-time and grow with your caseload . Initially 1-2 afternoons per week Primarily after-school hours, approximately 3:00-7:00 PM Opportunity to expand into additional afternoons and longer days Monday-Thursday only No Fridays No weekends No holidays For candidates interested in building more hours sooner, there may be an opportunity to split time between our locations, including our Cape May Court House office . Working at more than one location is optional and is not required for the position. Work Alongside an Experienced Therapy Team This is a collaborative outpatient setting , not an isolated position. You will work alongside other members of our Speech-Language Pathology and Occupational Therapy team , with opportunities to collaborate on shared patients and learn from clinicians with different areas of experience. This team environment can be particularly valuable for a Clinical Fellow or newer SLP looking to develop clinical skills while still having access to experienced professionals. A Unique Lifespan Caseload Our caseload is primarily pediatric , but our SLPs have the opportunity to work with both children and adults. Depending on your caseload, areas of treatment may include: Speech and articulation disorders Receptive and expressive language disorders Autism and developmental communication needs Childhood apraxia of speech AAC Fluency Voice Cognitive-communication disorders Adult neurological communication disorders Feeding and swallowing Patient, parent, and caregiver education For a CF or SLP who doesn't want to limit their skills to one population, this provides an opportunity to gain experience with a broad range of diagnoses and ages while maintaining a strong pediatric focus . Responsibilities Evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders within the clinician's scope and competency Develop individualized, functional plans of care Provide evidence-based treatment Monitor patient progress and complete required documentation Educate and collaborate with patients, parents, and caregivers Collaborate with SLP and OT team members on shared patients when appropriate Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current New Jersey SLP license or eligibility for licensure Clinical Fellows are welcome Pediatric experience preferred but not required Strong communication and patient/family education skills Dependable afternoon/after-school availability Interest in working with a varied outpatient caseload Why Join Seaside Rehabilitation?
