Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step confidently into a rewarding, full-time contract opportunity supporting students through the 2026-2027 school year. This Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is ideal for professionals passionate about pediatric speech services in educational environments. The role begins September 28, 2026, and extends through April 12 or 19, 2027, providing continuity and meaningful engagement with children who need your expertise.
Qualifications and Skills:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA Active state licensure (or eligibility) for practice as an SLP in New Jersey Previous experience serving pediatric populations, particularly in school-based or healthcare settings Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families Proficiency in assessments, treatment planning, and documentation using evidence-based practices
Responsibilities:
Evaluate students to identify speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders using standardized assessments Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines Deliver direct therapy services to students and monitor progress toward treatment goals Maintain detailed and timely documentation of evaluations, classroom observations, and therapy sessions Consult regularly with teachers, school staff, and parents to integrate strategies that support classroom and learning objectives Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions In this role, you'll impact lives every day, helping children achieve new milestones and develop critical communication skills.
