Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type All Job Types Make a powerful impact supporting students by providing speech and language services in dynamic educational settings near Jersey City, NJ. We're seeking five passionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to deliver expertise across a wide range of caseloads. Both seasoned professionals and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply, making this the perfect opportunity to grow your career or embark on your first professional assignment. Enjoy a consistent daytime schedule, working weekdays from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm. Positions are available for on-site and teletherapy service delivery, so you can find the best fit for your professional strengths and preferences. Each SLP will work closely with a diverse pediatric population, addressing unique communication challenges and collaborating with school teams to help each student succeed.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required. Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for NJ as an SLP. Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants welcomed. Prior pediatric, school, or teletherapy SLP experience strongly valued. Solid understanding of IEP process and school-based documentation. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in school-age children. Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs. Deliver services in person and/or via teletherapy sessions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and educators. Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school policies and requirements. Support students' social, academic, and emotional development through effective therapy strategies.
