Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity, making a difference in the lives of young learners for the Fall 2026 semester near Jersey City, NJ! This full-time assignment starts in September and spans 12 weeks, with three Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) positions available. You'll provide essential services in supportive elementary school environments—two dedicated to serving K-5th grades with high Autism and preschool populations. The third role is at a school in the district (location to be determined). All roles are onsite and offer a collaborative educational setting. Ideal candidates bring compassion, flexibility, and expertise to help students thrive. While Clinical Fellows are welcome (with external supervision), those holding ASHA CCCs are particularly encouraged to apply. Please note, these roles are not open to SLPAs.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active NJ SLP License and valid NJ SLS Certification Experience in school-based settings, especially with Autism spectrum and preschool-age children, is highly valued Comfort working independently and collaboratively in a school community Strong communication and documentation skills CF applicants must secure their own external supervision
Your Role Includes:
Providing speech and language therapy services to a diverse K-5 population Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals Conducting assessments and maintaining accurate records Participating in IEP meetings and progress monitoring These full-time positions (35+ hours per week) offer a vibrant schedule within a dedicated educational team for the 12-week maternity leave assignments.
