Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful impact working with early learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a supportive school-based setting near Long Valley, NJ. This contract opportunity focuses on serving a PreK caseload, providing dynamic and rewarding experiences for professionals passionate about pediatric communication development. The position is currently for the first semester, with the possibility of extension based on school needs. Ideal candidates will bring expertise in pediatric speech-language pathology and are enthusiastic about fostering growth in young children. Both fully licensed clinicians and Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to inquire about available hours and eligibility, as the school community welcomes those dedicated to guiding children at the start of their educational journeys.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid CCC-SLP credential, or eligible CFY (Clinical Fellow Year) applicants welcome Previous experience in school or pediatric settings preferred Demonstrated ability to work effectively with PreK-aged children Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Current NJ SLP licensure (or eligible for NJ licensure)
Primary Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and provide direct speech-language therapy to PreK students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary staff Deliver engaging, age-appropriate interventions to support academic and social communication Partner with teachers, families, and staff to ensure integrated and supportive care Maintain accurate progress records in accordance with school guidelines Participate in meetings, professional development, and team activities as scheduled This role offers the chance to support the youngest learners in a school community that values expertise and passion.
